Robert Half is supporting a large scale finance transformation programme. We are seeking an immediately available candidate for an Interim Oracle Test Analyst opportunity supporting the system migration to Oracle. Working as part of an established testing team, you will play a key role in executing test plans, validating processes, and identifying gaps within self billing BAU activities to ensure a smooth and controlled transition.
This role will focus on UAT execution, finance process validation, and identifying operational gaps across self billing, AP/AR, and transactional finance workflows as part of a major ERP migration.
You will work closely with finance, transformation, and IT stakeholders to ensure Oracle processes are fit for purpose ahead of go live and ongoing BAU operations., * Execute UAT and system testing as part of a wider Oracle implementation programme
- Work collaboratively with other testers to follow test scripts, log defects, and validate fixes
- Review existing self-billing processes to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and risks in BAU
- Test end to end finance transactions including invoicing, reconciliations, and payment processes within Oracle
- Accurately document test results, issues, and process gaps
- Support troubleshooting activities alongside finance and IT teams
- Assist with data validation and ensuring accuracy throughout the migration
- Contribute to improving process efficiency and controls within the self-billing function, This role is ideal for a hands-on Oracle tester who thrives in a team environment, supporting a critical system migration while ensuring self-billing processes are robust, accurate, and fit for BAU operations post go live.
Requirements
- Experience in Oracle testing / UAT within a finance environment
- Good understanding of self billing and accounts payable processes
- Previous exposure to ERP implementations or system migrations
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and document issues clearly
- Comfortable working as part of a collaborative testing team
- Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience with Oracle Finance modules (AP/AR)
- Exposure to high volume transactional finance environments
- Understanding of process improvement within finance teams
