Job description

167 Solutions is partnering with a global organisation delivering both B2B and B2C services to recruit an experienced Salesforce Developer on an initial 3-6 month contract. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced, international environment, where you'll play a key part in building, enhancing and optimising the Salesforce platform across multiple business lines.

Operating across both B2B and B2C functions, you'll work closely with business analysts, architects and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support a diverse customer base. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys variety, autonomy and the chance to make a genuine impact at a global scale.

Hybrid working is on offer, with a mix of London office presence and remote flexibility.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Visualforce.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
  • Configure and customise Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Balance declarative (config) and programmatic (code) approaches to deliver the most efficient, maintainable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain triggers, batch jobs, flows and automation across both B2B and B2C use cases.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Solution Architects to translate requirements into technical designs.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practice, governor limits and platform standards.
  • Support data migration, deployment and release management activities.
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve platform issues across global business units.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL).
  • Proven configuration and customisation experience across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model and governor limits.
  • Experience building and consuming integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
  • Familiarity with deployment tools and version control (e.g. Git, Salesforce DX, change sets).
  • Understanding of declarative automation (Flows, Process Builder) alongside code-first development.

Desirable

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I / II certification.
  • Experience working within global or multi-region Salesforce environments.
  • Exposure to B2B and B2C business models.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and managed deployments.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud or MuleSoft (advantageous, not essential).
