Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will lead the development of custom components, integrations, and configurations, while ensuring alignment with public-sector standards and project requirements. This role also involves guiding junior team members and contributing to the ongoing improvement of Salesforce capabilities across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced Salesforce solutions to meet defined business and technical requirements

  • Configure and customise Salesforce to support public-sector processes and service needs

  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems

  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and support to junior developers

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring reliable and secure system performance

  • Work closely with senior developers, architects, and project teams to deliver work on time and within scope

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Extensive experience working with Salesforce, strong focus on Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data models, workflows, and business processes
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Apex, and SOQL
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and systems
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration, including setup, customisation, and integration
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex technical issues*
