Job description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled System Configuration Consultant to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in configuring, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting bespoke systems and software solutions, ensuring successful delivery for our clients.

Acting as the bridge between Service Delivery and Development teams, you'll manage projects from implementation through to final sign-off, providing technical expertise, problem solving support, and excellent customer communication throughout.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Configure, test, and deploy systems, software, and hardware solutions
  • Support field engineers during installations and optimise system performance
  • Manage software updates, releases, and post-deployment support
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating where required
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation and release notes
  • Provide technical guidance and consultation to clients
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Support wider business and technical improvement projects

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Previous experience working with bespoke systems

  • Experience in system configuration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently and managing projects end-to-end
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning and improvement
  • IT qualification (or working towards one) or 1+ years' relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
  • Experience with hardware setup and troubleshooting
  • Ability to document technical processes clearly and accurately
  • Experience supporting software or technical deployments
