Job description

  • Lead testing for a critical strategic programme within a global fintech business
  • Work on large-scale, high-volume payment platforms
  • Drive quality assurance across complex distributed systems and enterprise-grade applications
  • Influence the delivery of secure, scalable, and highly reliable solutions
  • Work alongside senior engineering, architecture, and delivery teams, * Define and lead the overall testing and QA strategy for the programme
  • Establish testing governance, standards, and best practices across multiple teams
  • Coordinate testing activities across several workstreams and delivery functions
  • Mentor QA engineers and drive high-quality test coverage throughout the SDLC
  • Work closely with developers, architects, and business stakeholders to embed quality across delivery
  • Lead defect management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee test planning, execution, reporting, and delivery assurance

Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Test Lead with a strong background in large-scale C#/.NET enterprise environments to join a major strategic programme within a leading fintech organisation. This role is not suited to candidates with only general QA experience - proven expertise leading testing across complex .NET platforms is essential., * Extensive experience leading QA and testing functions within enterprise-scale .NET/C# environments

  • Strong background testing complex fintech, payments, or highly transactional platforms
  • Proven ability to define and implement testing strategies across large software programmes
  • Deep understanding of both manual and automated testing methodologies
  • Experience with integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing in distributed systems
  • Strong knowledge of modern software engineering and delivery practices within Microsoft technology stacks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
