T-Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared Sustainment Software Engineer 1 to join our dynamic team at Annapolis Junction, Maryland in support of the Intelligence Community., * Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Investigate and analyze system and user problems to identify potential solutions or fixes
- Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
- Develop, modify, and implement algorithms to address system performance or functional issues in operational systems
- Write or review software and system documentation
- Modify existing software to correct errors, to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related discipline. Four (4) years of additional software development experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Three (3) years of experience in software development/engineering in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Java/JavaScript. IBM Sterling/FEB (Forms Experience Builder) experience (desired).
Benefits & conditions
In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
