Job description
- Team: Report directly to the Head of Cloud and Infrastructure Engineering
- Size: Join an elite, agile team of 4 platform engineers
- Scope: Collaborate within a broader 15-person multi-disciplinary technology operations group

Core Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Modernization: Migrate legacy on-premises and virtualized workloads into highly scalable AWS environments
- Platform Evolution: Design and build scalable AWS infrastructure and cutting-edge, AI-enabled platform capabilities
- Automation & Security: Implement strict infrastructure-as-code, robust CI/CD pipelines, and high-security networking architectures
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a technical bridge, communicating complex infrastructure strategies to both engineering peers and executive leadership
Requirements
- Role: Senior Cloud Platform Engineer (Individual Contributor), * Cloud: Advanced experience in AWS architecture and multi-account deployments
- IaC: Production-level expertise with Terraform for infrastructure automation
- Containers: Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes
- Scripting: Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and continuous improvement
- SecOps: Deep mindset for cloud security, reliability engineering, and advanced networking
Qualifications & Mindset:
- Drive: Proven track record as an independent operator with strong initiative and a sense of urgency
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Industry: Experience within regulated industries, fintech, or financial services is highly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
