Data Scientist - Revenue Management

In this role, you will:

• Support demand forecasting and reporting
• Analyze historical pricing and customer behavior
• Assist in building and testing pricing or elasticity models
• Clean, validate, and structure messy transactional data
• Translate analysis into clear insights for RM managers
• Gradually take ownership of defined analytical components

Also note:

• The successful incumbent in this position should know basic statistics:

• Mean, variance, regression concepts
• Correlation vs causation awareness

• Introductory forecasting concepts: trend, seasonality, moving averages
• Comfort working with uncertainty and imperfect data

• This hire must be able to work with data independently, even if models are simple at first.
• Demonstrated interest in pricing, forecasting and business decision-making.
• Ability to understand:

• Why pricing varies by customer / product / time
• Trade-offs between volume, price, and margin

• Can explain analysis in plain English
• Comfortable asking good questions
• Willing to challenge assumptions respectfully

Strong attention to detail and data quality, * Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science or Data Science.

• 0-2 years of professional experience
• Internships, research projects, or strong academic work
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position., * Master's degree (especially for OR, analytics, or applied economics)
• Relevant coursework in Forecasting, Econometrics, Optimization, Supply chain or pricing analytics
• Scikit-learn exposure
• Data visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, Power BI, Tableau)
• Git or version control familiarity
