Job description
As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst II, you'll play a key role in Pacific Life's growth and long-term success by supporting data, reporting, and process improvement initiatives that enhance the accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of our investment operations. You will also help lead and drive initiatives that improve data quality, reporting capabilities, and operational effectiveness across the organization.
You will fill an existing role within the Pacific Life Investments Division and work closely with business and technology partners across the organization.
How you'll help move us forward:
- Independently investigate and resolve data discrepancies by analyzing information across systems and processes
- Lead and support data and reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and successful delivery.
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort, and implement automated workflows using Power Automate and AI, drawing on prior hands-on experience delivering automation solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis and partner with stakeholders to implement effective solutions
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision-making
- Gather and document business requirements for reporting and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Treasury, Accounting, Front Office, and IT teams to ensure alignment and delivery
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and support execution of data and reporting initiatives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related field
- Strong experience with:
- Power BI
- Power Automate
- SQL
- Background in Investment Operations (e.g., accounting, trade lifecycle, or portfolio data)
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex data issues independently
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams

Benefits & conditions
The base pay range noted represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$113,490.00 - $138,710.00
