Job description

SmartTalent is hiring for a company in Woodinville. This is a food production plant where you can smell hot chocolate and other yummy smells and get free samples of food daily! The QA Tech I must gain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all products, procedures and policies. The employee works closely with the QA Manager and Operations on all levels of receiving, production, labeling and shipping preparations, * Inspect and receive incoming materials; complete and file receiving reports

  • Verify accuracy and proper formatting of product lot codes
  • Initiate and accurately complete production data reports, submitting them promptly to management as needed
  • Communicate across departments and distribute relevant documentation to appropriate personnel
  • Perform or assist with basic testing such as pH checks, time-temperature monitoring, and net weight data collection
  • Monitor and log all critical control points (CCPs) and control points (CPs)
  • Support preparations for both internal and external food safety and quality audits
  • Help investigate and resolve customer complaints
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of production and sanitation SOPs
  • Promote and maintain sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout all operations
  • Assist in understanding procedures, standards, method sheets, and training documentation
  • Ensure production staff understand and apply operational corrective actions when required
  • Participate in monthly self-audits
  • Carry out additional projects and tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 year of QA Experience, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing
  • Basic computer skills (outlook,word,excel)
  • Must be able to lift 10lbs consistently, 50lbs occasionally
