Job description

Duties: Maintain a safety first mindset abiding by all regulations and laws while using new technology and vehicle systems. Define the requirements and specifications of the feature, in collaboration with stakeholders such as product managers, engineers and architects. Manage the development process of the feature, ensuring it meets quality standards and timelines. Coordinate with various teams including engineering, design, testing, and program mgmt. to ensure the feature is implemented correctly and meets customer needs. Identify and mitigate risks associated with the feature, such as technical challenges, resource constraints, or changes in requirements. Ensure the feature meets quality standards through testing, validation, tuning, calibration, and feedback processes. Keep stakeholders informed about the progress, challenges and outcomes related to the feature. Seek opportunities to improve the feature based on feedback, data analysis and market trends. Create, Maintain, and be a key Peer review stakeholder related to the features, including requirements, specifications, test plans, safety case support, feature performance/tuning/calibrations, and beyond. Keep the customer's needs and preferences in mind throughout the development process to ensure the feature delivers value and meets expectations. Make informed decisions regarding the feature, considering factors such as technical feasibility, customer impact and business objectives while being data driven. Demonstrate capability to work w/ unknown variables, program definition, and adapt to program changes. Show desire to touch product as part of in-vehicle testing to trust program results but verify yourself feature performance. Be the all-features program owner representative internally and w/ customer managing timely to customer milestones the execution deliverables. Additionally, ensure Core features assigned tasks are high quality outputs based on strong technical depth for feature(s).

Requirements

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or related position. Position also requires any amount of experience with or knowledge of the following: Fundamental understanding of the vehicle development process and key automotive milestones; Fundamental understanding of ASPICE; Fundamental understanding of the AGILE process; A conceptual understanding of various vehicle subsystem interfaces outside of the ADAS subsystem; A working knowledge of automotive module communications (CAN, LIN, Ethernet); and Using vector or equivalent tools for data logging, trace, and calibration configuration (e.g. CANalyzer,CANoe, CANape, VCDM)., Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S. Applicants who are interested in this position may apply at https://www.jobpostingtoday.com/ Ref # 89439.
