Frontend Engineer

Insight Global is searching for a Frontend Engineer to join the team at one of our largest streaming clients in the US. This person will be join the partnerships team that is responsible for delivering a new product from scratch for the direct-to-consumer streaming products across the web suite of connected devices. They will contribute to the applications on desktop web, living room devices, smart TV and game consoles like PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo. They should have an extensive background using Typescript, Javascript and React for frontend development. Testing tools such as Jest and Appium. Knowledge working within an AWS serverless Architecture with services such as S3. Ability to understand code quality, hold and maintain a high level of excellence and enjoy working in consumer facing environments.

• 5+ years of front-end engineering experience utilizing React, Typescript & JavaScript

• Hands on experience with testing framework such as JEST & Appium

• Strong approach to testing including Unit, End to end and functional testing

• Understanding of quality and ability to hold and maintain a high standard of code quality

• Familiarity with AWS Infrastructure serverless architecture -S3 services

• Hands on experience with connected devices and web products - SmartTV, Gaming Consols, OTT platforms

• Onesite 1-3 days a week for device lab exposure
