Senior AWS Cloud Developer (Hybrid, Dallas, TX area) W2 Only

• Core Java 11+ proficiency including streams, data structures, algorithms, and REST API development
• Extensive experience with event-driven architecture, messaging, and streaming tools such as Kafka and SQS
• Strong SQL skills; experience creating and managing relational databases, plus NoSQL databases like DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Proven AWS experience beyond deployment-provisioning and managing services such as SQS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, and Kinesis
• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Ability to develop and implement CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Familiarity with database version control tools like Liquibase
• Strong understanding of security, performance, and scalability best practices in API and system design

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with CloudFormation Templates and Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito
• Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with a focus on backend systems and cloud architecture
