Job description

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer with expertise in native test automation solutions using Kotlin. The selected candidate will participate in the full application life-cycle, including developing automation scripts, testing, and releasing applications. This role involves collaboration with product teams on new ideas, designs, and prototypes, while driving best practices and maintaining documentation for all development features., * Design, develop, and prototype Android mobile applications for phones and tablets.

  • Develop automation scripts and participate in the full app life-cycle from testing to release.
  • Collaborate with product teams on new product ideas, designs, and prototypes.
  • Maintain and improve our products, processes, and tools by driving best practices.
  • Write and maintain documentation for all features in development.
  • Collaborate with design teams to define application features.
  • Ensure the quality and performance of the application meet specifications.
  • Maintain the application's code and atomization.

Requirements

Experience: Typically requires 5-7 years of professional experience, including 5+ years of experience on Android platforms using Kotlin and/or Java.

Technical Skills:

  • Development experience in Core Java.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin.
  • Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium.
  • Knowledge of Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI.
  • Extensive knowledge of XCode and C-based libraries.
  • Proficiency with Web Services, Rest Services, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket.
  • Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with continuous integration and unit tests.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Benefits & conditions

Pay for this position is between $63.00 and $68.26 per hour. This role does not offer visa sponsorship now or in the future and may have the potential to convert to a permanent position.
