Job description
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deliver customer facing software solutions including integrations with 3rd party products;
- Build features that address Zoom's security, trust and safety requirements like Spam, ATO;
- Ensure software feature quality and reliability through code reviews as well as manual and automated testing and application security;
- Drive cloud-based solutions and deployment strategies to optimize service performance and ensure product stability using Cloud Platform on AWS infrastructure;
- Contribute to improving system architecture for cloud development and operational support through system analysis and new/improved tooling;
- Utilize cloud infrastructure technologies used in full stack development such as AWS, DynamoDB, Cloud development/Microservices Architecture;
- Utilize Java, Springboot, Javascript Framework, Object oriented design, and application/system troubleshooting;
- Collaborate with offshore teams, track tasks using ticket management software and communicate status regularly; and
- Triage critical customer issues and provide technical guidance for customer engagement.
Requirements
Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent. Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupation. Must have 2 years of experience in the following:
- Experience in Java programming language for building enterprise applications, features and web services used to secure platforms;
- Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-native applications, RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring framework for building scalable and resilient services that power Trust and Safety features;
- Experience designing and implementing data models for NoSQL databases for storing and retrieving large volumes of event data, user behavior patterns with high throughput and low latency to support abuse detections and preventions in Trust and Safety domain;
- Experience with relational databases and SQL for designing and implementing robust data schemas, optimizing complex queries, and managing data that supports user data, policy & compliance reporting capabilities within Trust and Safety infrastructure;
- Hands on experience using AWS platform, DynamoDB and S3 for building and maintaining high performance, scalable infrastructure for storing large volumes of security event data, implementing efficient data access patterns to support Trust and Safety operations;
- Experience with docker and CI/CD tools for containerizing applications, automating build, test, and deployment processes, and ensuring consistent delivery of features across environments; and
- Experience using source code tools such as Git for version control, collaborative development, and maintaining code integrity across distributed teams.
- Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.
