Job description
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong operational execution with an entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to think commercially and strategically across infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor management, automation and innovation.
The position will play a key role in leading and implementing the continued development of the Group's broader technology and IT environment across multiple European jurisdictions, working closely with external partners, software providers and internal stakeholders across investment, development, asset management and operations.
The role will work closely with internal business functions while supporting the wider technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity and integration environment across the Group.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, pushes initiatives forward proactively and is comfortable operating in an evolving environment where technology, operations and experience are closely interconnected.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and coordinate the Group's overall IT and technology environment across multiple European jurisdictions.
- Drive the continued stabilisation, standardisation and improvement of the Group's technology infrastructure and operational technology landscape.
- Manage and challenge external MSPs, software providers and technology vendors to ensure accountability, performance and service quality.
- Support and implement improvements across infrastructure, cybersecurity, identity and access management, endpoint management and business continuity.
- Help develop scalable and resilient IT processes, governance structures and operational controls aligned with the continued growth of the platform.
- Coordinate and support the evolution of the Group's cybersecurity and technology governance maturity, including alignment with recognised industry standards and best practices where appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal business functions in relation to operational and business-critical technology platforms, integrations and vendor ecosystems.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve productivity, scalability and operational resilience across the business.
- Support internal stakeholders across departments in improving systems usage, integrations, reporting capabilities and operational workflows.
- Coordinate IT-related onboarding, offboarding, access governance and systems documentation processes.
- Monitor IT-related budgets, licensing structures, vendor costs and contractual arrangements.
- Support technology procurement, vendor evaluations and RFI/RFQ processes where relevant.
- Act as a key escalation point for critical IT and operational technology matters across the Group.
- Support the continued professionalisation and institutionalisation of the platform's technology and cybersecurity environment as the business continues to scale.
Requirements
Experience & Background
- 6-10 years of relevant experience across IT infrastructure, systems management, cybersecurity and operational technology environments.
- Experience operating within multi-site or multi-country organisations with interconnected systems, external MSPs and business-critical operational platforms.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft-based environments, cloud/SaaS ecosystems, identity and access management, cybersecurity and operational resilience concepts.
- Experience managing vendors, technology procurement, licensing structures, budgets and commercial processes with a pragmatic and cost-conscious mindset.
- Exposure to operational systems integrations, automation, AI-enabled productivity tools and customer-facing technology environments would be advantageous.
- Experience within hospitality, living, real estate or similarly operational and service-driven environments would be considered a plus.
- Professional working proficiency in English is required.
Skills & Personal Characteristics
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on and execution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to combine operational execution with strategic and commercially minded thinking.
- Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach with the ability to balance scalability, risk management, operational needs and cost efficiency.
- Comfortable operating across infrastructure, operational systems and vendor ecosystems rather than purely specialised technical silos.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills, with the ability to drive initiatives forward in evolving and fast-moving environments.
- Curious and proactive mindset towards innovation, automation and continuous improvement.
Benefits & conditions
- Competitive compensation package (€45,000-€85,000 annually), depending on location and experience), with employment or B2B structure to be discussed.
- Flexibility to be based in Berlin, Milan or Vienna, or to work fully remotely from within Europe.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial team environment that values initiative, fresh thinking and pragmatic problem-solving.
- A supportive and collegial culture with room to grow alongside the business.
- Your birthday as an additional day off - because that one's yours.
