You'll make an impact by

  • You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Computer Science, Informatics, Cybersecurity, or a related field and bring a strong motivation to address emerging challenges in GenAI-assisted software development
  • Building on your academic foundation, you conduct a comprehensive survey of state-of-the-art best practices in cybersecurity, software assurance, and security evaluation specifically for GenAI-generated software
  • In the next step, you analyze current engineering workflows in GenAI-assisted software development to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in security assurance
  • Subsequently, you define suitable evaluation criteria and design security guardrails - including architectural constraints, access control mechanisms, policy enforcement strategies, and quality gates - to enhance the trustworthiness and robustness of generated artifacts
  • Finally, you propose a practical framework or reference model, optionally validating your approach through case studies, prototypes, or simulations, to support secure and resilient GenAI-based software development

Requirements

Do you have experience in Software development?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Education: You are currently enrolled in a Master's program in Computer Science, Informatics, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • Experience and Skills:
  • You have a strong interest in cybersecurity, software architecture, and industrial systems
  • You possess knowledge of software development, automation, or CI/CD environments
  • You are familiar with the security implications of GenAI-assisted software development
  • Ways of Working: You demonstrate an analytical mindset and the ability to connect theory, engineering practice, and governance
  • Languages: You have excellent English skills
