Job description
We are building an internal IT function for the first time, and information security is at the heart of it. This is a rare opportunity for someone early in their security career to learn directly from an experienced CIO and to help shape security at a growing company from the ground up.
As IT Junior Information Security Officer, you will support the development and day-to-day operation of our information security programme under the guidance of the CIO. We are looking for someone curious, reliable, and eager to learn.
You will help manage Microsoft security tools, follow up on security alerts, support risk assessments, assist with security policies and documentation, and contribute to improving our overall security posture. The CIO will provide direction and mentorship, while you help drive the work forward and grow your skills along the way.
The duties to be performed are as follows:

Support the configuration and monitoring of Microsoft Defender tooling.

Help follow up on security alerts and coordinate with our monitoring partner.

Assist with risk assessments and the rollout of security policies.

Maintain security documentation and registers.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SoC?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * 0-3 years of experience in IT or information security.

A foundational understanding of information security concepts.

Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Entra ID), through study or work.

A genuine passion for cybersecurity and a strong desire to learn.

Good written communication and documentation skills.

Fluent Spanish and English.
Nice to have

A security certification (CompTIA Security+, eJPT) or a cybersecurity degree / master's.

Exposure to Microsoft Defender, SOC/SIEM concepts, or vulnerability management.

Awareness of GDPR or NIS2.

Hands-on curiosity: labs, CTFs, internships, personal projects.
