Job description
The IT Trading Lead takes end-to-end ownership of the IT systems supporting our trading activities. This is a key role at the intersection of technology and business, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of mission-critical trading platforms. Acting as a bridge between Trading, Risk, Operations, and IT, the role provides leadership and direction in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, while aligning technology delivery with business priorities. In this position, you will lead the management and continuous evolution of trading systems, defining and executing the technology roadmap while ensuring the high availability and resilience of 24/7 platforms. You will oversee the delivery of complex IT projects related to market data, pricing, and risk, while managing incidents, driving root cause analysis, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play a key role in vendor management, cybersecurity and compliance, and technology modernization initiatives such as cloud adoption, automation, and data streaming. This range reflects the typical starting pay for new hires. Pay above this level may apply in specific circumstances based on experience, skills, or role scope.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Leadership?, * Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with proven experience leading technical teams
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure environments
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Strong understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud technologies, APIs, and data-driven platforms
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with a business-oriented mindset
