Job description
- DevOps Engineer In this role, you will work closely with Software and Data Engineers as part of the Platform team to build, maintain, and optimize scalable and secure infrastructure environments that support critical business operations and data platforms.
- Providing technical support across cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Building, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Managing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Improving reliability, scalability, availability, security, and performance across systems and applications.
- Automating infrastructure, operational workflows, and monitoring processes.
- Supporting and evolving cloud infrastructure in GCP and AWS environments.
- Collaborating with infrastructure and data teams to implement best practices and operational excellence.
- Managing and monitoring Linux-based systems and services.
- Implementing monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for critical systems and data pipelines.
- Supporting data infrastructure components such as Airflow, BigQuery, dbt, Pub/Sub, GoldenGate and related tooling.
- Participating in infrastructure modernization and platform improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring security, compliance, and operational stability across environments.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).

3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar infrastructure/platform engineering role.

Strong experience with Linux system administration.

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.

Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.

Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation best practices.

Experience with Git and version control workflows (GitHub or Bitbucket).

Knowledge of networking and infrastructure architecture concepts.

Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and alerting tools.

Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.

Basic understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

Advanced English communication skills.

Spanish is a strong plus.
Nice to Have

Experience with Kubernetes cluster provisioning and management.

Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.

Familiarity with BigQuery, dbt, Pub/Sub, or data platform technologies.

Experience with Docker and containerized environments.

Familiarity with Jenkins, Groovy, Apache, or Nginx.

AWS or GCP certifications.

Experience working in data-focused or analytics-driven teams.
