Job description

We're supporting a leading global organisation building a greenfield enterprise design system across a complex product landscape.

This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, and AI, focused on creating a scalable, high-quality system from scratch. You'll design and maintain component libraries, patterns, and design tokens while working closely with engineering to ensure consistent implementation.

You'll also help explore how AI can enhance design-to-code workflows, improving speed, scalability, and system adoption across teams.

Your new role

  • Designing and scaling a complex enterprise design system
  • Building Figma libraries, components, and token architecture
  • Collaborating with engineering (including Web Components) to ensure robust implementation
  • Supporting design system adoption through documentation and guidance
  • Working with tools such as Figma, Token Studio, Supernova, and Git-based workflows
  • Exploring AI tooling to enhance design and design-to-code processes

Requirements

  • 8+ years in UX/Product Design, with 3+ years specialising in enterprise design systems.
  • Deep Figma expertise: component architecture, scalable libraries, multi-theme systems, design tokens.
  • Strong knowledge of WCAG and inclusive design practices.
  • Experience partnering with engineering teams to implement systems at scale.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
  • A portfolio demonstrating design system strategy, execution, and measurable outcomes.
  • Bonus: experience in financial services or other complex enterprise domains.
  • Bonus: track record of driving design system adoption across large organisations.
