Job description

Our client is looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Platform Architect to support the ongoing development of its cloud infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing and modernising the existing cloud landscapThe successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing and modernising the existing cloud landscape., * Define and develop cloud architecture strategy, standards, and best practices across AWS environments

  • Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud platforms
  • Produce and maintain architectural artefacts including roadmaps, blueprints, and reference models
  • Work closely with engineering, security, and compliance teams to support cloud integration and platform evolution
  • Establish governance frameworks covering cloud security, compliance, and cost optimisation

Requirements

  • Extensive experience architecting secure, highly available AWS cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, storage, and database technologies
  • Experience with containerisation, Kubernetes, and serverless architectures
  • Hands-on knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tooling including Jenkins and Jira
