Job description
As our Staff Frontend Engineer, you'll build and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications that deliver seamless user experiences. You'll operate with full ownership: deploy daily and make fast decisions., * Build, ship and own major parts of the product UI in React + Next.js
- Design and optimize interactive experiences that make complex workflows simple
- Work closely with product, design and backend to ensure seamless integration and clarity
- Contribute to architecture, performance, accessibility and responsiveness across browsers
- Help define our frontend system and component library as we scale

Requirements
Do you have experience in Xero?, * Hardcore work ethic and high agency
- 8+ years of experience in frontend development with React (Next.js a strong plus)
- Solid grasp of JavaScript and TypeScript: scoping, closures, context, prototypes, classes, etc
- Strong understanding of responsive UI, accessibility and usability principles
- Experience building and testing APIs; comfort with HTTP, Postman, and debugging
- Clear product thinking, eye for polish and attention to design details
- Pragmatic mindset: you move forward fast
- Curiosity and autonomy - you dig in, learn fast and solve problems without waiting
- Fluent in English (C1+) with strong written and verbal communication

- Equity: $50,000 - $80,000 USD
- Base Salary: $130,000 - $230,000 USD
