Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Helpdesk Analyst to support a high-performance Investment Banking environment. This role requires a confident, technically strong professional who can provide first and second-line support to Front Office, Trading, and VIP users in a fast-paced, business-critical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-line IT support to Front Office, Trading, and VIP users, both onsite and remotely.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and technical issues in line with ITIL processes and internal SLAs.
- Build, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop systems, peripherals, and network connectivity within trading environments.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, GSuite, Citrix, SCCM, and Intune.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across Windows client/server systems.
- Support market data and trading applications including Bloomberg, Reuters Workspace, and IonTrading.
- Assist with user onboarding and offboarding, ensuring secure and compliant setups.
- Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, processes, and configuration changes.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, and application teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in audits, system reviews, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven background in IT Helpdesk or Desktop Support, ideally within Investment Banking, Trading, or Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365 administration, GSuite, and Citrix.
- Experience with ManageEngine, WSUS, and automated software deployment.
- Basic PowerShell Scripting for user and system administration.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, DMZ, and Firewall concepts.
- Exposure to market data systems and trading floor applications (Bloomberg, Reuters, Ion).
- Familiarity with ITIL service management and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of AGILE methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support high-profile users in demanding environments.
- Proactive, customer-focused approach to problem solving.
