Responsibilities/accountabilities will also include: Program Orchestration: Partner in the execution of the global digital roadmap, coordinating between the Digital Product Managers, Data Leads, and Software Engineers. Global Stakeholder Management: Partner with leaders in Supply Chain (Planning, Production, Quality, Processing and Logistics) to align technical delivery with operational needs. Integration Strategy: Designing the flow of information between disparate systems-such as SAP, MES, Lab Information Management System, and specialized production tools-to eliminate data silos. Vendor & Partner Management: Manage relationships with external global integrators and software vendors to ensure performance standards are met. Stay current with advancements in AI, ML, and automation specific to the production & supply industry and assess their potential impact on the organization Actively seek and propose opportunities to leverage AI, ML, and automation technologies to enhance business processes, decision-making, and operational efficiency Advise on emerging technologies relevant to the production & supply sector Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to address business needs Qualifications and required experience Experience archetyping enterprise systems - SAP/ERP, MES, Warehouse Management Systems Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Supply Chain or a related field Expert-level knowledge of delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies) Data Literacy: Ability to understand technical architectures (Data Lakes, APIs) and partner with data lead and engineering team in development. Global Operations: Proven experience creating solution designs across multiple time zones, cultures, and languages. Business-to-Tech Translator: The ability to explain complex technical constraints to a Plant Manager in simple, business-centric terms. Strategic Problem Solving: A proactive approach to identifying bottlenecks in the global supply chain that can be solved through digital intervention. Resilience & Adaptability: Comfortable leading through the ambiguity of a digital transformation in a fast-paced, global environment. Proven track record in production & supply or related industry preferred Additional Information There's a preference for the role to be based in Manchester but other locations within the UK can be considered.
