Job description

  • Providing customer IT support via phone and remote access
  • Software development using Python, HTML, Javascript etc, training provided
  • Installing and configuring systems at customer sites
  • Delivering basic user training during installations
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Preparing systems and equipment for installation
  • Assisting with general ad-hoc technical and administrative tasks, including maintaining records, ordering components

You will act as the first point of contact for customers experiencing IT-related issues, so strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Working Hours

  • Part-time: 3 days per week
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm
  • Opportunities for additional hours may become available
  • Work from home available on non-customer visit days

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Technical support?, We are looking for a reliable and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a varied role combining customer support, development, on-site installations, training, and hardware setup., * Comfortable using computers and common software applications

  • Basic experience with hardware/software support and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own insured vehicle required for customer visits
  • Mileage expenses will be reimbursed

Experience

  • Previous experience in an IT support or technical support role is desirable but not essential
  • Experience within a small to medium-sized business environment would be an advantage, Any IT-related qualifications or certifications would be beneficial, including:
  • A Levels
  • BTEC
  • Diploma
  • Degree
  • Relevant IT certifications
