Junior Data Analyst

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Junior Data Analyst, supporting NHS Supply Chain: Food. You will work closely with experienced professionals across supply chain and procurement, gaining valuable knowledge and experience while contributing to initiatives that directly impact patient feeding across the NHS., * Process large amounts of raw data from multiple sources, cleansing, collating, and preparing it for upload to data warehouse systems (Cognos)

• Identify data issues and communicate them to relevant teams or suppliers to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Create customer-facing switching templates using the prepared data to highlight savings opportunities
• Use business intelligence tools such as Cognos BI and Power BI to develop dashboards and reporting templates
• Interpret and present data insights to drive commercial and strategic objectives
• Produce monthly customer and client-facing reports to support business performance, growth, and savings targets
• Collaborate with procurement, account management, and finance teams to understand requirements and deliver effective analytical solutions
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis for stakeholders across the business

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to analyse and evaluate large volumes of data from multiple sources
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including pivot tables and complex formulas
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across functions
• Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset
