Job description

We are looking for a talented Editor to join us here at Grey London on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract, creating Famously Effective work that makes a meaningful and lasting impact., As an Editor, your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around your strong conceptual, creative, and communication skills, which are integral to the success in this role. You'll be involved in:

  • Editing content across multiple platforms with a social-first approach that captures attention.
  • Managing multiple projects efficiently, balancing creativity with technical precision.
  • Working on projects for a broad range of clients & shapes of work, taking full ownership of assigned tasks and applying your strong editorial skills as required.
  • Collaborating closely with your peers across the studio to ensure seamless execution of deliverables across key accounts.
  • Reviewing and revising content based on feedback, ensuring that all videos meet technical and creative standards.
  • Keeping up with the latest video editing and motion graphics trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Finalising edits e.g. overruns, final tweaks and additional deliverables.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues across all in-house edits.

Requirements

We're looking for a skilled Editor with at least four years of experience, demonstrating strong conceptual thinking and a diverse portfolio across multiple platforms, including social media, TV broadcast, and reels. Ideally, this experience comes from recognised agencies, showcasing high-quality work and expertise in Premiere Pro and other industry-standard post-production tools., * Excels at building and maintaining strong relationships within the team and across the agency.

  • Demonstrates solid experience in broadcast post-production and has a strong understanding of technical QC processes.
  • Can work independently while also thriving in collaborative environments.
  • Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving and performs well under tight deadlines.
  • Have proficiency in various software packages, including After Effects, Photoshop and Final Cut Server.
  • Can showcase a passion for creativity in every project.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients.
  • Brings energy, is self-motivated and eager to learn.
  • Is proactive, well-organised and able to work to agreed deadlines.
  • Plays an active role in shaping and building our agency's culture of high performance and maximum fun.
