Job description
Reporting to the IT Manager, this office-based, hands-on role is integral to the day-to-day delivery of IT support services, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of all IT systems and infrastructure. Working collaboratively with the wider IT team, the successful candidate will support the management of incidents through to resolution, coordinating and allocating technical resources as required.
The role requires maintaining a clear and comprehensive understanding of ongoing incidents to enable effective communication with senior management and customers, while proactively managing stakeholder expectations.
This position is ideally suited to an individual with a strong blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills who is looking to broaden their responsibilities, contribute strategically, and make a significant impact within the organisation.
Key Areas of Responsibility / Experience
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
· Manage SLA's
· Ensure software is updated and patched in line with security standards.
· Supporting users
· Managing external services by 3rd party suppliers
· Updating and maintaining internal systems
· Managing policies and processes and procedures
· Ensure business security standards are always maintained
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, · Azure
· Intune / Autopilot
· Office 365
· Solidworks/PDM experience ideally in a manufacturing environment
· Cabling and patching
· Group Polices and Windows 11 deployment.
· Active Directory
· Microsoft operating Systems
· Hardware, Software
· Basic Networking knowledge
· ITIL Experience
· 3 years' experience in a 2nd and 3rd Line Team
· An understanding of Microsoft Business Central whilst desirable is not essential
· Full UK Driver's License Required
