Platform/Solutions Architect - OpenShift, Linux, IaC, Ansible, IDP

Xpertise have an urgent requirement for a Platform/Solutions Architect - OpenShift, Linux, IaC, Ansible, IDP.

This role will be responsible for defining high-level architecture across the entire programme. A key focus will be designing and implementing OpenShift on-premise environments, progressing from virtualised infrastructure to bare metal, and ultimately towards hybrid deployment models.

Candidates will have the following essential skills and experience:

Proven experience as a Platform Architect or Solutions Architect on large-scale transformation programmes
Strong experience designing and implementing Red Hat OpenShift on-premise environments
Experience across VM-based and bare metal deployments

Proven experience in heavily on-premise infrastructure estates (Linux-based)

Experience designing for containerisation at scale

Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and migration strategies

Experience working with:

Linux environments (VM & bare metal)
Docker/container technologies
GitLab (CI/CD pipelines)
Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
Ansible (automation/configuration management)

Experience with Morpheus or similar self-service provisioning platforms

Experience enabling developer self-service models

Outside IR35 - London - hybrid working
