Job description
- Identify, analyze, review, and refine system-level requirements in partnership with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and the customer
- Allocate requirements to test teams (lab, ground, flight) and keep Integrated Test Plans/Verification Plans current
- Document verification needs, develop verification artifacts, generate requirement-verification reports, and manage approval workflows
- Create and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for test tools and facilities
- Collaborate across disciplines-mechanical, software, test, and program management-to gain end-to-end insight into the Sentinel missile and Northrop Grumman processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's degree.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (< 6 yrs), with an ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
- Familiarity with the Systems Engineering process and test-engineering practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on test-engineering or test-execution work
- Systems Engineering experience on aerospace or defense programs
- Proficiency with requirements-management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
- In scope (<5 years) Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Prior employment with MMIII or Sentinel Weapon Systems
- Team Leadership experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
