- Review completed Cat Inspect reports; identify and prioritize Action Required (AR) items.
- Monitor Condition Monitoring systems (e.g. Texada) and Cat Inspect website to manage inspection alerts; maintain clean and accurate alert queues, ensuring no backlog.
- Create and manage cases, including clear descriptions and recommendations for work opportunities (i.e. leads).
- Submit cases and work opportunities to Pricing Team; track to ensure timely quoting and follow-through.
- Collaborate and communicate directly with customers and internal Product Support, Service, and Sales teams to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of the inspection-to-quote process.
- Support and maintain documentation standards and data accuracy within Cat Inspect, Condition Monitoring systems, and related systems.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist Pricing Team with creating and transmitting quotes to customers for parts and services.
- Travel occasionally to Peterson locations to attend meetings, training, company events, professional development, and industry conferences.

This position serves in the capacity of the Product Support Inspection Specialist. General discretion and judgment are exercised routinely in the execution of job duties. If errors in judgment or professional execution of responsibilities are made, the consequences to the to the department can be significant.
Requirements

- Computer-proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software applications, systems, and technologies.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.
- Ability to translate inspection data into detailed repair plans, identifying required work, parts, and labor.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work effectively under minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment industry terminology highly preferred., High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and a minimum of three (3) years of directly related experience in the construction, heavy equipment industry, and/or automotive industries; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Experience quoting service and repair work, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs required.
- Experience with heavy equipment or automotive parts and/or service required.
- Familiarity with Cat Inspect or similar systems preferred.
