Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in data center networking or infrastructure engineering
  • Strong expertise in EVPN/VXLAN architectures and large-scale routed fabrics
  • Hands-on experience with Arista EOS and CloudVision platforms
  • Experience designing network architectures for private cloud, hybrid cloud, or high-performance environments
  • Strong background in network automation and Infrastructure as Code using Python, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
  • Deep understanding of BGP, routing at scale, segmentation, and high-availability design patterns
  • Proven experience building scalable and resilient network systems

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience supporting AI/ML or GPU-based infrastructure and high-performance workloads
  • Familiarity with lossless networking, RDMA, or high-bandwidth fabrics
  • Experience working with Kubernetes, OpenShift, or cloud-native platforms
  • Exposure to network observability, telemetry, and analytics tooling
  • Experience operating in multi-vendor network environments
  • Strong documentation and architecture review experience

A globally recognized technology and manufacturing enterprise is seeking a Network Data Center Architect for a full-time opportunity based onsite in Richardson, TX. This role focuses on designing and evolving large-scale, high-performance data center networking environments that support private cloud and hybrid cloud platforms. You will work heavily with Arista technologies, EVPN/VXLAN, and automation frameworks to build scalable, resilient network infrastructure. This is a highly technical, architecture-focused role where you will help define the future state of data center networking across a large enterprise.
