Job description
DMV's Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking an individual to serve as an Application Developer for the Enterprise Modernization Project Branch. The incumbent will support application development and maintenance activities for DMV's core business applications. The incumbent will work on projects that interface with DMV's core systems and contribute to the design, development, testing, and implementation of new applications and services.
The incumbent will collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements, develop technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery of enhancements and new functionalities. This Group is responsible for supporting salesforce/mule releases, system integration, performing unit testing, and maintaining and enhancing existing applications. The incumbent will also support troubleshooting, defect resolution, and continuous improvement efforts across the application landscape., The following items are required to be submitted with your application. Requirements

- Strong application development skills and experience working on enterprise systems.
- Experience in working in Salesforce platforms
- Experience in supporting development and maintenance activities in mission-critical, 24x7 production environments.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience in working in Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies.
- Familiarity with system integration, APIs, and data handling.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and support defect resolution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, and DevOps.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage workload and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with timely decision-making.

Usecase: A customer shall be able to login to the DMV customer portal where they shall be able to update their existing address.

Telework is available. Telework requires California residency. This position may be required to occasionally report to the designated office location in DMV headquarters at 2415 First Avenue, Sacramento, California, 95818. Travel expenses related to reporting to the designated office is the employee's own responsibility and is not eligible for reimbursement.
