Job description
As a Cyber Security Engineer supporting the SDNX program, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting cyber risk assessment activities, vulnerability analysis, and analysis of mitigation solutions.
- Developing, evaluating, and analyzing design constraints, trade-offs, and detailed system and security designs.
- Implementing appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers.
- Prepare ATO, ATC, IATT packages.
Specific technical responsibilities include:
- Assessing and driving mitigation efforts of system security threats/risks throughout the program lifecycle for the Space Vehicles and Ground system.
- Implementation of security policies and or configurations to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) objectives.
- Interacting significantly with other engineering disciplines to implement security designs, resolve vulnerabilities, modify system or software components security settings, and mitigate risk.
- Performing System Engineering activities to manage Cyber requirements for tracking until closure.
Requirements

DOD 8570 Experience.

Experience with Authorization and Accreditation processes using Risk Management Framework methodologies.

Experience with DoD cybersecurity requirements, policies, and procedures. Desired Skills:

Experience performing cybersecurity accreditation activities in support of software and system requirements, design, development, testing, and sustainment of approvals - Authority To Operate

Experience with NetBrain, Zenoss and Hewlett Packard Network Automation (HPNA)

Familiar with eMASS, HBSS, ACAS, SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC), DISA STIGs
-
Experience with Secure Configuration/Hardening of DoD Information Systems

Experience with Intel Driven Threat Modeling, preferably classified Cyber Threat Intel Support
-
Experience briefing complex cyber security principles to all levels of knowledge and skill
-
Experience briefing high level customer stakeholders with cyber security concerns and remediation tactics

Knowledge of NIST 800-53

Experience with RHEL and Windows Server/Professional

Experience with SIEM and cloud technologies including LogRhythm, Splunk, Jira, and Confluence

DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

Ability to provide guidance on DoD Cyber regulations and requirements to engineering and software development staff

Experience with responding to cyber incidents from detection through remediation.

Intuitive and proactive self-starter that's accountable and mission focused., Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
