You will work across the full stack using modern frameworks and cloud technologies, write clean and scalable code, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle in an agile, highly collaborative environment. The position requires a strong understanding of software architecture, cloud computing, APIs, and secure, scalable application design, along with an active TS/SCI-level clearance., * Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Implement full stack solutions, contributing to both backend services and modern frontend applications built with frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to best practices and modern software engineering standards.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Develop and maintain unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other engineers, to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Leverage modern cloud providers such as AWS or Azure and support standalone Kubernetes deployments to build and operate cloud-native applications.
- Use source control tools such as Git or GitLab to manage code repositories, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
- Work within a DevSecOps and Agile Scrum environment, using tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence to plan, track, and document work.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and standards to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Engage with team members in a modern office setting multiple days per week, providing and receiving feedback to support professional growth and a collaborative culture., This role is based in secure on-site SCIF facilities in locations such as Aurora, Colorado; King of Prussia, Pennsylvania; Herndon, Virginia; and Ypsilanti, Michigan, with specific clearance and polygraph requirements varying by site (for example, TS/SCI minimum, CI polygraph, or full scope polygraph, as applicable). You will work in a modern software development office environment, initially on-site at least three days per week with the potential to grow to five days per week in the office as needed. - At least 5 years of professional experience using Java, C#, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience with JavaScript or Typescript.
- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure software applications using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Proficiency in writing clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
- Experience developing unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software quality.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Experience with a modern cloud provider such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of standalone Kubernetes deployments.
- Experience with modern front-end development using React or Angular.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript or Typescript in the context of modern front-end frameworks.
- Experience using source control tools such as Git or GitLab.
- Experience working within DevSecOps and Agile Scrum software development methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jira, and Confluence for collaboration and project tracking.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to work in a modern software development office at least 3 days per week, with flexibility to increase to 5 days per week as required.
- Active TS/SCI-level security clearance appropriate for on-site SCIF work, with ability to meet site-specific clearance requirements (such as CI polygraph or full scope polygraph, as applicable).

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
