Software Developer

RCT has immediate opportunities for a Full Stack Developer to join a team building innovative software supporting the Sponsor's Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management. We're supporting a well-established customer that is responsible for critical and high-visibility missions applications used by a wide audience. Our team is tremendously talented, and we need to add a talented and creative UIUX Engineer to the team.

This candidate is responsible for the development of innovative, engaging, and effective UI/UX and JavaScript programming. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to think critically and have knowledge of current visual and interaction design principles while performing within a team environment., * Proven ability to create well-structured and maintainable WordPress site themes from scratch

• Proficiency in developing WordPress plugins to support custom site functionality and integrations
• Good eye for design and attention to detail
• Improve the overall efficiency of the website's back-end including database and server integration
• Maintain and optimize the WordPress theme and plugins
• Conduct website performance tests, and execute performance enhancements to improve site speed
• Monitor the performance of the live website and troubleshoot content and user experience issues that arise
• Responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform well as a member of a rapid paced, cross-functional team environment
• Utilize agile development methodology

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph

• BS degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant

• 6 + years of experience with JavaScript

• Framework experience required such as VUE.js, Angular, or React.

• Work closely with the product team to chart our roadmap forward and enhance usability.

• Be a part of the development team to support and maintain existing production code and develop new and exciting products to our client base.

• Evaluate user stories and acceptance criteria to validate front-end coding and influence story or acceptance criteria to get stronger development solutions.

• Stay current on new technologies as they relate to web-based application development and user interface design.

• Participate in code reviews and internal team scrums. Desired Qualifications

• Experience with VUE.js framework

• Ability to work with the front end and middle tier

• Experience working with Java
