Systems Engineer

Are You a Systems Engineer Ready to Support Secure Enterprise Infrastructure and Cloud Operations? QSSHire is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the deployment, maintenance, and sustainment of enterprise infrastructure operating across secure cloud, hybrid, and onpremises environments. This role focuses on supporting mission-critical systems requiring high availability, operational resiliency, cloud integration, and secure infrastructure operations across multiple network fabrics.

In This Role, You'll: · Support enterprise systems operating within secure cloud and hybrid environments · Perform system patching, deployment activities, upgrades, and operational maintenance · Monitor system availability, performance, and operational health across cloud and onpremises systems · Troubleshoot infrastructure issues involving compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud services · Support AWS, Azure, and Oracle cloud infrastructure environments · Participate in incident response, operational escalations, and service restoration activities · Support disaster recovery and high-availability initiatives · Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and networking teams to improve system reliability and scalability · Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures

· Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure within secure or classified environments · Experience supporting systems handling sensitive data · Experience supporting systems across multiple network fabrics or secure enclaves · Experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure · Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises environments · Experience with Linux and/or Windows systems administration · Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, vSphere, or ESXi · Experience supporting networking technologies including Cisco or Juniper environments · Experience troubleshooting operational production systems and infrastructure issues · Strong troubleshooting, communication, and analytical skills

Desired Skills: · Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines · Experience supporting high-availability systems and disaster recovery environments · Experience supporting datacenter operations or infrastructure expansion efforts · Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or OCI certifications · Security certifications such as Security+, CISSP, or Linux+

Degree Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field · Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
