Job description

  • Provide Level 2 deskside and remote support for Windows-based systems
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, and chat
  • Image, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops and laptops
  • Support Microsoft Office 365 applications and Microsoft Teams
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for IT vendors during system implementations
  • Assist with testing IT implementations, including network access, wireless connectivity, and telephony
  • Coordinate and manage relationships between IT vendors and local client support teams
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional presence with end users

Requirements

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Desktop Technician to join their team onsite in Aiken, SC and provide end-user support. This role requires strong Windows desktop support experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight. The technician will act as the local "hands and feet" resource for IT implementations and ongoing support., * Minimum 3 to 5+ years of deskside PC support and customer service experience

  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Experience assisting with IT system implementations
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Windows operating systems
  • Basic Mac support
  • Desktop and laptop imaging
  • Active Directory user and device support
  • ITSM/ticketing systems
  • Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Teams

Benefits & conditions

The rate for this position is between $22.50 - $30.00 per hour , unless local minimum wage is higher.
