Job description

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
  • Lead data analysis projects from inception through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and adherence to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Design and optimize databases, including schema development and database design using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources employing tools like Talend, Bash scripts, VBA macros, or Python to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements through business analysis techniques and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively within an Agile framework, facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Conduct detailed analysis using R, SQL, and other analytical tools to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support the integration of linked data sources to enhance data richness and enable comprehensive analytics.
  • Document processes using Visio or similar diagramming tools to ensure clarity in system architecture and workflows.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in analytics, database management, and emerging technologies to continually enhance analytical capabilities.

Your expertise will support the organization's goals of enhancing operational efficiency, optimizing data-driven strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement., * Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst with a strong portfolio of successful projects.

  • Proficiency in SQL programming for querying large datasets across platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes utilizing Talend, VBA, Bash (Unix shell scripting), or Python.
  • Solid understanding of database design principles and relational database management systems.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and project management practices within an Agile environment.
  • Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of analytics techniques including statistical analysis, linked data integration, and predictive modeling.
  • Experience working with diverse datasets and conducting comprehensive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
