Job description
Segal McCambridge is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide high-quality technical support to attorneys and professional staff in a modern Microsoft-based legal technology environment. This role is primarily remote, with one day per week in our Chicago office (or as needed) and is ideal for a technical professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys solving complex user support challenges.
This position supports users across multiple time zones and requires a consistent schedule of 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Central Time to provide coverage for later business hours and West Coast offices.

- Support users in an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment, including:
- Session and profile issues
- Printing and connectivity troubleshooting
- Performance support
- Troubleshoot and support:
- Microsoft 365
- Outlook
- Teams and Teams Phone
- OneDrive
- Office applications
- Legal-specific add-ins
- Support NetDocuments and other legal applications
- Assist with Intune-managed devices, endpoint enrollment, compliance, and remote support
- Troubleshoot Teams telephony issues, including:
- Calling
- Voicemail
- Call queues
- User configuration
- Document all work thoroughly in the ticketing system and follow issues through resolution
- Escalate infrastructure, security, and application issues when appropriate
- Provide occasional hands-on support for:
- Office hardware
- Conference room technology
- Phones
- Printers
- Network-connected devices
- Assist with onboarding, offboarding, MFA setup, access changes, and end-user training
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, * 3-5+ years of help desk, desktop support, or IT support experience
- Strong experience supporting:
- Windows 10/11
- Microsoft 365 environments
- Experience with:
- Azure Virtual Desktop
- FSLogix
- Intune
- Entra ID / Azure AD
- Microsoft Teams and Teams Phone
- Familiarity with NetDocuments or other legal document management systems
- Basic PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting experience
- Understanding of:
- MFA
- Microsoft Defender
- Endpoint security
- Conditional access concepts
- Legal industry experience strongly preferred
- Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to remain patient, professional, and organized in a fast-paced support environment

Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience, * 401(k) with company match
