Job description
We are seeking a dependable and motivated IT Support Specialist to provide day to day technical support for staff and office operations throughout Hillsborough County. The ideal candidate will assist with setting up new employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining IT inventory, and supporting overall technology needs across the organization., * Set up workstations, computers, monitors, phones, printers, and other equipment for new employees
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot software applications and user accounts
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and related equipment
- Respond to help desk requests and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Track, organize, and maintain IT inventory including computers, accessories, and equipment assignments
- Configure and maintain printers, scanners, and other office technology
- Assist with password resets, user permissions, and account management
- Perform routine system updates, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Support conference room technology and audio/visual equipment when needed
- Document technical issues, solutions, and inventory records accurately
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for repairs or replacements when necessary
- Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service to staff at all levels
- Follow company policies, procedures, and cybersecurity best practices
- Perform additional IT support duties as assigned
Requirements
Do you have experience in Teamwork?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Previous experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support preferred
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers, and basic networking
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Windows operating systems, and common business applications
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and efficiently
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
- Customer service oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certifications are a plus but not required
