Spanning a range of styles, our design work extends throughout the United States and abroad. We are seeking candidates with 3-7 years of professional experience for a staff architect position at our studio in Charlottesville, Virginia. We are looking for well-rounded individuals passionate about design and construction at all levels, with conceptual talent, technical ability, and strong communication skills., * Professional architectural degree from an accredited school required

  • Experience with high-end institutional and commercial projects
  • Strong organizational & verbal, written and graphic communication skills including hand sketching
  • Strong design, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for self-motivated learning, discovery and constant improvement
  • Willingness to take on responsibility and grow within a highly collaborative studio environment
  • Experience collaborating and coordinating consultant teams and contractors
  • Experience managing and producing architectural contract documents
  • Construction administration experience
  • Experience and proficiency using CAD drafting or BIM modeling software, Adobe Creative Suite and digital modeling platforms (Rhino / SketchUp)
