Job description
As Sr. Wireless Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the delivery of state-of-the-art wireless algorithms that run on radio payloads that will be integrated into satellites. You will be involved in developing algorithms and working with the hardware and software teams to prove out algorithms.
The company is developing new wireless radio payloads to address customer needs that the current payload can't address. This candidate will help develop and test new algorithms that will enable these capabilities.
Requirements
Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience developing wireless algorithms with Matlab and Python. Experience with Software Defined Radios Experience working with hardware and software teams to port algorithms and testing in real-time systems. Ability to work independently Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills is a must Ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment Must be available to work extended hours and weekends when specific highly critical events dictate as needed
Strongly Desired: +5 years of directly relevant experience (IoT/Wireless) Experience with wireless positioning algorithms, and knowledge of time of flight-based positioning systems like GPS. Experience with Digital Beamforming algorithms in wireless communication systems. Knowledge of FPGA design and embedded system design. Experience with hardware and embedded software PhD in Electrical Engineering
