Job description
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office., As a Senior Systems Software QA Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and integration of the testing of complex software solutions that impact HPE's products and services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and drive technological innovation to ensure high-quality, scalable software systems., * Lead multiple project teams in all phases of functional and integration testing.
- Manage relationships with internal and external development partners.
- Review and evaluate designs for compliance with standards, providing feedback to improve quality.
- Offer expertise in software architecture and contribute to cross-organizational projects.
- Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative solutions.
- Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Typically, 6+ years of experience in software development and testing.
- Strong proficiency in Python and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and storage concepts.
- Proven experience in designing robust test plans and complex test cases.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills in English and local languages.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and programming languages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of software architecture for products and solutions.
- Experience designing and integrating software systems across multiple platforms.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including writing and executing test plans, debugging, and scripting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to senior management.

- United States of America: Annual Salary USD 126,500 - 240,500 in Colorado // 136,500 - 260,500 in Massachusetts // 136,500 - 276,500 in California // 120,500 - 276,500 in North Carolina The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered."
