Job description

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux systems administration, network management, and automation. This role is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, monitoring, and securing Linux-based systems and infrastructure in both data center and small network environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux, scripting and automation tools, and modern system monitoring technologies. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support mission-critical business and user applications in a secure and reliable environment., * Install, configure, maintain, and support Linux-based operating systems and enterprise applications

  • Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments across multiple systems
  • Perform system patching, upgrades, packaging, and routine maintenance activities
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions
  • Manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and related connectivity components
  • Support data center operations and small network configurations
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Ansible
  • Implement and support system monitoring and management tools
  • Maintain system security, access controls, and compliance standards
  • Configure and support directory services including LDAP, IDM, and Microsoft Active Directory integrations
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and operational processes
  • Collaborate with technical teams to improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience
  • Strong expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration and support
  • Experience with Linux scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Ansible
  • Knowledge of network administration including switches, routers, firewalls, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience managing Linux-based servers, applications, and infrastructure environments
  • Familiarity with modern software management, monitoring, and automation tools
  • Strong understanding of system maintenance, patching, and application deployment processes
  • Experience troubleshooting complex system and network issues
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Linux systems administration
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and network environments preferred
  • Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu environments preferred
  • Experience maintaining directory services such as LDAP, IDM, and Microsoft Active Directory preferred
