Job description

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education, and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average compensation for this role is $150,000.00-180,000.00 CAD, The EDI Senior Manager provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership for TD SYNNEX's EDI and integration ecosystem across the Americas. This role is accountable for the reliability, scalability, modernization, and governance of all EDI and B2B integration services that enable critical data exchange with business partners.

The EDI Senior Manager leads a team of system engineers, ensures stable and secure daytoday operations, drives continuous improvement, and advances modern integration capabilities-including APIs, microservices and eventdriven architectures-to support business growth and maximize trading partner value., Leadership & Operations

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a highperforming EDI and integration team, including staffing, performance management, coaching, and career development.
  • Oversee daily EDI production operations, ensuring high availability, SLA compliance, and timely resolution of incidents.
  • Establish operational standards, best practices, documentation, and performance metrics.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex EDI, integration, or crossfunctional issues.

Technical Strategy & System Ownership

  • Define and own the EDI and integration architecture roadmap, including modernization initiatives.
  • Oversee solution design, technical standards, testing practices, and deployment readiness.
  • Ensure all solutions comply with security, architecture, and data governance standards.
  • Own assigned EDI and integration platforms and applications, including stability, performance, documentation, and lifecycle management.

Trading Partner & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage trading partner relationships and oversee onboarding of new trading customers that including customers, vendors, carriers and banks.
  • Collaborate closely with business units, PMO, IT application teams, infrastructure, and security to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Promote strong communication and collaboration across internal teams and external partners.

Project, Portfolio & Vendor Management

  • Oversee the EDI project and enhancement portfolio, including modernization initiatives.
  • Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues as needed.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify process, automation, and technology improvements that enhance reliability, scalability, and partner experience.
  • Drive adoption of modern integration patterns and a culture of operational excellence and accountability., * Diriger, encadrer et developper une equipe EDI et d'integration performante, incluant la dotation, la gestion du rendement, le coaching et le developpement de carriere.

Strategie technique et responsabilite des systemes

  • Definir et porter la feuille de route d'architecture EDI et d'integration, y compris les initiatives de modernisation.
  • Superviser la conception des solutions, les normes techniques, les pratiques d'essais et la preparation aux deploiements.
  • S'assurer que toutes les solutions respectent les normes de securite, d'architecture et de gouvernance des donnees.
  • Assumer la responsabilite des plateformes et applications EDI et d'integration assignees, notamment leur stabilite, leur performance, leur documentation et leur gestion du cycle de vie.

Relations avec les partenaires commerciaux et parties prenantes

  • Gerer les relations avec les partenaires d'echange et superviser l'integration de nouveaux partenaires commerciaux, y compris des clients, des fournisseurs, des transporteurs et des banques.
  • Collaborer etroitement avec les unites d'affaires, le PMO (Bureau de gestion de projets), les equipes d'applications TI, l'infrastructure et la securite pour assurer l'alignement sur les priorites d'affaires.
  • Promouvoir des communications et une collaboration solides entre les equipes internes et les partenaires externes.

Gestion de projets, de portefeuille et des fournisseurs

  • Superviser le portefeuille de projets et d'ameliorations EDI, y compris les initiatives de modernisation.
  • Gerer la portee, les echeanciers, les budgets, les risques et les dependances, en escaladant les enjeux au besoin.

Amelioration continue et innovation

  • Identifier des ameliorations de processus, d'automatisation et de technologies qui renforcent la fiabilite, l'evolutivite et l'experience des partenaires.
  • Favoriser l'adoption de modeles d'integration modernes et d'une culture d'excellence operationnelle et de responsabilisation.

Connaissances, formation et experience

  • Plus de 15 ans d'experience progressive en EDI (echange de donnees informatisees), integration B2B et developpement TI d'entreprise.
  • Plus de 10 ans d'experience en direction et developpement d'equipes techniques.
  • Baccalaureat en informatique, systemes d'information, genie ou domaine connexe (exige).
  • Experience dans des environnements de grande envergure, a volume eleve ou axes sur la distribution fortement souhaitee.

Expertise technique et en integration

  • Solide expertise des plateformes et traducteurs EDI (p. ex., IBM Sterling Integrator, Axway AS2).
  • Connaissance approfondie de l'EDI, des formats XML et fichiers plats, et des modeles d'integration B2B.
  • Maitrise de SQL, du scripting Linux et des revues de conception technique et de code.
  • Experience avec AS2, SFTP, les VAN (reseaux a valeur ajoutee) et les protocoles securises de transport de donnees.
  • Connaissance pratique des integrations basees sur des API, de l'architecture de microservices, des architectures infonuagiques natives et des systemes axes sur les evenements.
  • Exposition a des outils propulses par l'IA et forte volonte d'adopter et d'utiliser l'IA de facon responsable pour ameliorer les operations EDI, la surveillance, les tests et l'efficacite de livraison.

  • La maitrise du mandarin constitue un atout, particulierement pour collaborer avec des equipes et partenaires bases en Asie.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in EDI, B2B integration, and enterprise IT development.
  • 10+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (required).
  • Experience in largescale, highvolume, or distributionfocused environments is strongly preferred.

Technical & Integration Expertise

  • Deep expertise with EDI platforms and translators (e.g., IBM Sterling Integrator, Axway AS2).
  • Strong knowledge of EDI, XML, flat file formats, and B2B integration patterns.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Linux scripting, and technical design/code reviews.
  • Experience with AS2, sFTP, VANs, and secure data transport protocols.
  • Working knowledge of APIbased integrations, microservices architecture, cloudnative architectures, and eventdriven systems .
  • Exposure to AIenabled tools, with a strong willingness to adopt and responsibly leverage AI to improve EDI operations, monitoring, testing, and delivery efficiency.
