Test Engineer

Supporting the Test & Evaluation department, the Senior Test Instrumentation Engineer will lead and execute the design, build, and integration of test equipment and instrumentation. This role will drive the entire instrumentation project cycle from concept through completion, ensuring the successful development and verification of test systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the scope and verify requirements of test instrumentation efforts.
• Design instrumentation and associated equipment.
• Design and develop instrumentation software.
• Integrate test instrumentation.
• Verify that as-built systems meet requirements.

• Proficient with Labview (certified Labview developer preferred).
• Experience in instrumentation and test equipment development.
• Knowledge of aerospace and space flight test instrumentation.
• Understanding of object-oriented design (OOD).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with test software and fixture/racks used for component acceptance.
• Aerospace or space flight experience preferred.

You will be part of an instrumentation test team highly focused on test and evaluation. This position offers the opportunity to directly support the development of the Delta space plane as it approaches its launch dates in late 2026.

This is a Contract position based out of Tustin, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
