Job description

Greystones Group has an opportunity for a Senior Data Analytics Developer supporting a contract with the Navy. This role is responsible for designing, developing, modernizing, and maintaining enterprise applications, data platforms, dashboards, and automated workflows that transform complex data into actionable intelligence for analysts and senior decision-makers. The position supports mission-critical initiatives through innovative technology solutions, process automation, and continuous improvement efforts in secure government environments. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and experienced in Agile delivery environments., * Design, develop, modernize, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications, analytics platforms, and automated workflows supporting Department of the Navy (DoN).

  • Develop automated dashboards, self-service analytics tools, and ad-hoc reporting solutions utilizing authoritative enterprise data sources and right-time data.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrations, and automated processes to support analytics, reporting, and operational decision-making.
  • Gather and analyze end-user requirements and recommend technical solutions that improve operational efficiency, data accessibility, and business processes.
  • Support database administration activities including performance tuning, troubleshooting, data integrity management, configuration management, and access control administration.
  • Support Agile and project management processes by contributing to project plans, status reporting, testing, and configuration management activities.
  • Support policy development, governance recommendations, and compliance with DoD and DoN directives related to information technology, data management, and application development.
  • Maintain complete and accurate system documentation libraries and ensure all source code, graphics, and training materials are delivered to the Government as required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Technical solutions implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience supporting data analytics, application development, systems modernization, and process automation in government or enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting DoD or Navy organizations and working within regulated government IT environments.
  • Strong experience with full lifecycle application development, database administration, analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with programming languages and technologies including Python, SQL, Oracle, Java, C#, .NET, Power BI, Tableau, Databricks, Power Platform, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience developing automated dashboards, data pipelines, workflows, and custom enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, project management practices, and software lifecycle development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
