Job description

We are seeking two highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Support Specialists to support the OSS team. This role combines engineering support, project coordination, document control, workflow management, and operational support responsibilities within a fast-paced utility/engineering environment. Candidates will work closely with engineering teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments to support project execution, compliance, and process improvement initiatives., * Apply engineering principles, theories, concepts, and practices to support operational and project objectives

  • Review and manage Aconex workflows, including document routing, reviewer assignments, approvals, and workflow tracking
  • Consolidate and manage OSS documentation entering workflow systems, including as-built drawings and engineering records
  • Monitor overdue workflows and proactively send reminders to ensure timely completion and compliance
  • Close and manage open comment sheets associated with finalized engineering documents
  • Prepare and distribute weekly status updates and reports
  • Maintain and manage the OSS shared team calendar and call coverage roster
  • Own and maintain the OSS action tracker and OSS SharePoint page
  • Manage change orders and provide OSS contract support, including invoice and contract review activities
  • Support budget tracking and financial oversight for OSS-related contracts
  • Participate in risk analysis activities and support mitigation planning
  • Manage SEMCO inventory activities, including warehouse walkthroughs, integrated tracking methods, and process improvements
  • Develop job aids and process documentation to improve workflow efficiency and team consistency
  • Track and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Technical Queries (TQs), including weekly updates and participation in resolution meetings
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to validate and resolve technical issues and documentation discrepancies
  • Support configuration management activities and maintain document quality and compliance standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in SharePoint?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Associate's degree required; Engineering degree preferred

  • Experience supporting engineering, operations, construction, utility, or industrial projects preferred
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, project coordination, and document control processes
  • Experience with Aconex, SharePoint, Excel, or similar workflow/document management systems preferred
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents, codes, regulations, and technical procedures
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and engineering/software tools such as Excel or similar platforms
